It's All In Your Mind
03:29
|
|||
it's all in your mind
you never know when you should
stop
don't look behind
you never know when you should
stop

Alien Hands
02:55
|
|||
hey, our numbers been called
it seems like the line might be too long
if the money doesn't come then, we're all just fucked
my alien hands can't save us all
hey, can't we move this along
nobody wants to hear more doom gloom slop
if it's already over, let's just move on
my alien hands can't save us all

I've Seen A Ghost
05:53
|
|||
how could I get through to you
without a change in volume
I have seen a ghost
it follows me home
it never stops
as I start to question more
that you have no answer for
I have seen a ghost
it follows me home
it never stops
back when we were young
maybe it could pass as fun
I have seen a ghost
it follows me home
it never stops
and as time changes us
now it could pass as dust
I have seen a ghost
it follows me home
it never stops
if you somehow learn
maybe I'll return

Should Have Never Known
02:10
|
|||
I see all of downtown
melting through the dashboard
and pouring down the drain
where it all goes eventually
I was a ghost the whole time
what were you?
the moon overhead is laughing
I see It looking through the clouds
and peeking through the leaves of
the trees outside my house
it peers down and I can feel it's light
on my skin and my hair and in my throat
it speaks through my mouth
and it sounds like the wind
and it blows through my hair
it's light has no end
I feel all the cells in my eyes
and all that I should have never known

Cardinals
03:50
|
|||
see me walking in a circle
my vision forms into a tunnel
searching for the moment to start up again
the empty cardboard boxes turn
into an impenetrable wall
that the little birds can never cross
my sunburnt skin is screaming again
consummating the partnership
see me walking, glowing red
becoming smoke and dissipating
cardinals soar with sharpened wings
they come to cut my face again
their hue matches mine
they carry me off into the sky

Where Did You Go?
04:04
|
|||
it was late into the evening
someone suggested we should walk
the empty street it had felt freeing
he noticed I can't even talk
two more showed up on bicycles
as I am unbinding my tongue
and once it was untangled
I had never felt so young
when all our voices had given out
we all went back towards our homes
and arriving there we could hear
a rabbit screaming near the road

Listen To Me
04:01
|
|||
how many times will I try
the words I say never reach behind your eyes
I ask myself why I'm still surprised
again and again, every time
if you could hear the words I say to you
if you could let any of them get through
surely there'd be something else that you could do
but never mind it's all of us against you
listen to me
now it feels like it's done
and that nobody won
and there's still an empty seat in the room
that nobody can fill except for you
if you could feel how all of us feel now
surely you would change somehow
there's still time to come back down
there's still time for you to be around
listen to me

Slow Down
03:20
|
|||
slow down
how'd you get to now
just breathe
what is it you need
the floor
can't hold you anymore
let's go
somewhere that we know
find the time to find it
center and unwind it
how
since you never find the timing
it should feel like mountain climbing
now
slow down
how'd you get to now
just breathe
what else can you see
don't feel
none of this is real
slow down
someone get me out
brain is slowly rearranging
we are slowly changing
now
when it all feels like the same thing
you should focus on the pacing
slow down

The Summer I Died
06:14
|
|||
ooh, it's summertime
the summer I died
with the leaves draped over my eyes
in a place to hide
underground is where I reside
if you want to bring me out
